What is the iGGi Conference?

The iGGi Conference (iGGi Con) has been operating annually for over 10 years. It's become an established showcase of our iGGi PhD researchers, allowing a birds-eye view into their work, and a chance to bring academic research, innovation and the games industry together.

Why has iGGi Con been branded BiGGi Con 2026 this year?

This year's iGGi Con is special since it's likely to be the last of its kind; a celebration of all things iGGi, past and present:

We are looking upon 12 years of iGGi, and so we are hoping to gather everyone who was ever involved in iGGi to celebrate iGGi's achievements, but most of all to celebrate its people and each individual journey.

Who can attend?

iGGi Con 2026 is a public event particularly aimed at members of the games industry and researchers in the field. Places are free but limited.
